Mckenna Chhorn - 2027
I am a Senior at Cienega High School, located in Vail, Arizona. I am currently a Level 9 gymnast at Springs Gymnastics.
I have been doing gymnastics since I was little. I didn’t find my true passion for the sport until I was part of a team. Working side by side with athletes with the same type of goals has been one of my favorite parts.
I feel I do best in a team environment where everyone supports one another and has shared goals. I value discipline and persistence in gymnastics - mainly with the determination to overcome challenges and achieve difficult skills through hardworking, coach guidance, and team encouragement.
I plan to pursue a business degree as a step toward achieving my goal as well as continue my gymnastics career in college.
Kaitlyn Gomez - 2027
My name is Kaitlyn Gomez. I am currently a Senior at Cienega High School in Tucson, AZ. I am a level 10 gymnast.
Gymnastics hold a special place in my heart. The adrenaline from getting new skills, discipline, and the sense of accomplishment are all the things that drive me to be better. My goal is to carry this love for gymnastics into college where I can push my limits, compete at a different level, and inspire others. The thought of pushing gymnastics in college fills me with excitement and dedication to work hard to making this dream a reality.
